Ingredients:


Rice – 240 ml (1 cup)
Fresh coconut meat chopped –  ~180 ml (3/4 cup)
{or desiccated coconut - 1/2 cup+1 tsp sugar}
Salt


Method:

Soak the raw rice for 2-3 hours or longer
Homogenise it with the coconut to a smooth batter.
Add salt to taste and water or coconut milk if required.

Place a dosa pan on the heat or a large griddle pan and make dosas on the oiled pan.
Cook dosas on both sides and serve hot with churna or cardamon syrup.

For the churna: Mix melted jaggery and desiccated coconut together and cook until it becomes a slightly dry mix.
Add ground cardamom.
