Ingredients:
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) toasted sesame seeds
  • 3 garlic clove(s) minced (1 Tbsp)
  • 1 Tbsp ginger, minced
  • 3 scallions, minced
  • 80 ml (1/3 cup) soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp sugar or honey
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp hot red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Method:
  1. Lightly toast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat.
  2. Combine the sesame seeds and the remaining ingredients in a shallow bowl.
Use:
  • Marinate fish for 30 minutes
  • chicken breasts for 1 hour
  • thinly sliced beef for 1-2 hours, turning once or twice.
