Ingredients:
  • 360 ml (1 ½ cups) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 400 ml (1 2/3 cups) cold water
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) chopped green onion
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Method:
  1. Mix flour and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add egg and half the cold water. Stir with a large spoon in one direction 2 minutes.
  3. Add remaining water and stir until lumps are dissolved.
  4. Add green onion; mix well.
  5. Heat a 10-inch skillet over medium heat 1 minute. Add 1-1/2 teaspoons oil. Heat 30 seconds. Pour about 1/6 of the batter into skillet, tilting so bottom of skillet is evenly covered.
  6. Cook 1 minute or until speckled with brown and edges are dry.
  7. Carefully turn pancake with a spatula and cook about 30 seconds until speckled with brown.
  8. Fold pancake in half, then in half again to keep warm.
