Ingredients: - Urad Daal washed 250 gm,
- Water 1 litre
- 1 Medium sized Onion finely chopped
- Ginger - chopped into small pieces,
- Chopped Green coriander 2 Tablespoons
- Chopped Green chillies x 2
- Cumin seed, 1/2 tsp dry roasted
- Salt, 1/2 tsp.,
- Cooking Soda (Soda-bicarb), 2 pinches

Method: - Soak the Daal in plenty of water and leave it for about 3 to 6 hours or overnight

- 60 ml (1/4 cup) cilantro, chopped
- 60 ml (¼ cup) Chinese celery, chopped

Ingredients :- 1 cup urad dal
- ½ tsp soda bi carb
- 4 pods of garlic
- 1" piece of ginger
- 2 green chillies
- ½ tsp fenugreek seeds
- 2 tsp mustard oil
- 1 bay leaf
- salt to taste
Method :- Soak the urad dal for about 2 hours.
